Federal Memo: Case Planning and Services for Detained/Deported Parents

ACYF-CB-IM-15-02, an Information Memorandum regarding Case Planning and Service Delivery for Families with Parents and Legal Guardians who are Detained or Deported by Immigration/Enforcement, has been released. This IM hopes to encourage child welfare agencies and others that work with families with a child involved in the child welfare system whose parent(s) may be at risk of, or are, being detained or removed to engage in case planning activities that ensure the safety, permanency and well-being of all children in foster care.
