Children Now Releases 2016 California Children’s Report Card
The research, policy and advocacy organization Children Now has quantified California’s child well-being in its 2016 California Children’s Report Card. The report highlighted 31 key areas under the headings of “Education,” “Health” and “Child Welfare,” and covers everything from STEM standards to health insurance to juvenile justice.
California Children’s Report Card
California’s children aren’t doing well. The state ranked 41 out of the 50 states in a national study ranking children’s well-being. The 2014 California Children’s Report Card takes a look at the state’s children to determine how they are really doing and what policy changes are necessary to improve children’s well-being.
