The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals to enter into a contract with a qualified seller to obtain web-based tools, applications, or products that assist students and adults with their college and career planning. The product will be integrated with and available through UtahFutures.org, administered by the Utah Education and Telehealth Network of the University of Utah hereafter referred to as the “University.” The companies submitting proposals in response to this RFP will hereafter be referred to as or “seller.”
The University is seeking proposals in two different categories. Each category will be scored separately.
Comprehensive Tools: Products in this category are designed for use broadly by multiple ages, levels, and career stages such as elementary, middle school, high school, technology certificates, college, and adults. These are all-encompassing products that meet the needs of UtahFutures’ broad range of clients.
Individual Products: Products in this category serve a niche audience, specific age range, or particular purpose that support college and career planning. These may include specific types of assessments or assessment packages, video or interactive tools that highlight careers, tools distinctly designed for younger users, online course planners or trackers, tools to build and track educational pathways or stackable credentials, tools for job-seekers with special needs/abilities, tools for English language learners, multimedia packages to enhance UtahFutures, financial planning or job-seeking tools for adults, or tools to facilitate engagement outside of the school day.
Sellers must specify the category in which they are submitting proposals and proposals will be scored in the two categories. Sellers may submit multiple proposals. The University may decide after reviewing proposals to accept one, multiple, or none. Sellers who choose to submit multiple proposals must do so each as a separate submittal.
Due December 8, 2016 at 2:00pm Mountain Time.
