The Department of Mental Health seeks to establish a Master Agreement for the provision of various human and social service trainings. These trainings may include – but will not be limited to – CPR/first aid, SAMHSA cross-cutting principles, utilization management, risk management, clinical issues, transitional issues, gender/transgender/sexual issues and fire safety, among others.
Please note the Department may add to this list throughout the duration of the procurement.
Vendors will be reimbursed typically on a rate basis, however the Department will also utilize product based contracts. It is expected that where appropriate, awarded vendors will have and will maintain all applicable licenses and certificates throughout the duration of this Master Agreement/procurement. Agreed upon rates will be all inclusive (e.g. no separate reimbursement for travel time, mileage, etc),
Responses to this RFR should include:
- applicable licenses/certificates
- three business reference contacts
- completed Rate Schedule and Response Cover sheet located in the Forms and Terms Section of this posting
- a resume/description of trainings that vendors are able to provide.
In addition, bidders should identify in which DMH Area (see DMH Area Office listing in the Forms and Terms section of this RFR) they are able to provide training.
This procurement will result in a list of approved providers. However placement on this list does not guarantee that the Department will hire the vendor. To be paid for services, a contractor must be selected off the Master Agreement and enter in a Statement of Work (SOW) with Department of Mental Health. The requirements for the SOW are set forth in Section 5.3. The criteria set forth in Section 5.3 will be used for selecting a professional off the MA. Contract renewals or the issuance of additional contracts to the contractor will be based on performance, the maintenance of applicable licenses/certifications (if required) and funding.
