$30 Million for Physical Activity Programs in Play from Reebok

Reebok announced a three-year, $30 million commitment to physical fitness programs this week. In an initiative announced today by First Lady Michelle Obama and New York Giants Quarterback Eli Manning, Reebok will spend about $6 million per year on the BOKS program, which the company’s foundation helped a group of mothers start in 2009.

Early Childhood Developmental and Nutritional Training for Foster Parents

This exploratory study examined the effectiveness of a foster parent nutrition training program. The study involved providing an intensive training to 11 self-selected foster parents. The participants completed pre-tests and post-tests related to their level of knowledge and comfort in the area of infant nutritional needs.
