Foster Youth Intern

One can run all kinds of keywords through WikiLeak’s “Hillary Clinton Email Archive.” The words I chose were “foster care.” The 30,322 emails and attachments included in WikiLeak’s database yielded five results.

The Imprint is highlighting each of the policy recommendations made this summer by the participants of the Foster Youth Internship Program (FYI), a group of 12 former foster youths who have completed congressional internships.

Last week, members of Congress converged on Washington, D.C. for a short legislative session before the elections. In short order, the Uninterrupted Scholars Act (USA), which would amend education privacy laws to the benefit of foster children gained momentum.
