Grants Announced: April 3, 2013

Seven Urban School Districts across New England will receive more than $3 million in grants to promote systemic change to better meet the Common Core Standards and increase student achievement. The grants will help districts implement specific student-centered approaches like blended learning designs and performance-based assessment systems. Each district will receive a 20 month grant for $450,000.
