California Wellness Foundation Revamps Their Grants Program

The California Wellness Foundation has undergone a strategic planning period. They are set to launch their new streamlined grantmaking program, Advancing Wellness, on October 1. The foundation has not been accepting any new letters of interest since November 1, 2013.

The foundation will now be accepting online submissions of letters of interest and proposals through the new Cal Wellness Grants Portal. The portal will also allow current grantees to submit ongoing reports.

Cal Wellness will be hosting one-hour webinars on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 10 a.m. Pacific or on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 10 a.m. Pacific. The webinar will address the new online application process. Representatives from the foundation will also introduce the new funding areas identified by the strategic planning process.
