Kerrie Lonard, Child Advocate for Kansas, was appointed to the office in 2021. She spent 14 years with Kansas Legal Services, with a focus on poverty law issues, serving as both Staff Attorney and Managing Attorney. Lonard has served on the Kansas Supreme Court Taskforce on Permanency Planning as a Guardian ad Litem.
