The Office of Justice Programs will fund programs aimed at intervening and supervising youths with sexual behavioral problems. Likely, there will be two grantees, with one operating a tribal program.
Grantees are asked to focus on youth who are between 10 and 14, and can only serve youths without a prior history of court involvement for sex offenses.
The program is a joint operation of the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention and the Office of Sex Offender Sentencing, Mentoring, Apprehending, Registering and Tracking.
