The George Rogers Foundation funds nonprofit organizations in North Carolina and South Carolina that address youth development.
The foundation offers mini-grants of up to $2,500 for projects that will have a positive and long-lasting effect on youth. Funded projects should address one of the following areas: academic enrichment for youth, mentoring services for youth, or workshops and training for youth. Activities should help build life and social skills or focus on educational achievement, including after-school tutoring, job readiness skills, and literary skills training. Applicant organizations must have an annual operational budget of less than $100,000.
