The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention is fielding solicitations for its “Smart on Justice” program, an initiative aimed at improving the capability of local jurisdictions to provide meaningful defender services for juveniles.
There are three different categories that applicants can pursue funding under: planning grants, technical assistance providers, or resource centers. Winners of the planning grants will be invited in fiscal 2016 to apply for implementation grants.
