The National Endowment for the Humanities will make both planning and implementation awards of up to $1 million for museums, libraries and other community centers that are interested in providing exhibitions, discussion of literature and film, and “interpretations of historic sites.” One of the specified categories is programs aimed at youth.
The two varieties of grants are exclusive of each other: An entity does not have to have received a planning grant to apply for an implementation grant, and can apply for both at the same time.
