The Human Services Department of the City of Philadelphia is seeking contractors to provide residential care for for females ages 14 – 20 who are under the supervision of delinquency court.
Successful bidders will provide treatment, supervision and rehabilitation for girls presenting with substance abuse and mental health disorders. Programming will specifically address the needs of girls victimized by sexual exploitation, girls who are pregnant, girls with babies and girls who identify as LGBTQ.
Community Based Residential Services (CBRS) will complement a continuum of services for girls including evening reporting and intensive supervision residential placement.
Moreover, CBRS placement will address the youth’s educational, behavioral therapeutic and criminogenic needs. The lengths of stay will range between three, six, nine and 12 months.
