The Warren County Board of Commissioners is soliciting proposals from organizations interested in developing and operating innovative Youth Programs under the provisions of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
The design of the program shall provide comprehensive education and employment preparation services through a skills-based design to eligible low income in-school and out-of-school youth age 16 through 24 with barriers to future employment.
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act mandates that a minimum of 75% of the total program funding be used for Out-of-School youth. However, OMJWC is requiring the expenditure of at least 80% of the total funds related to this request to be used on Out-of-School youth for delivery of designated services.
