The Ohio Department of Youth Services seeking applicants for residential treatment for DYS committed females, aged 12-20, with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.
This Request for Proposals (RFP) has been released for the purpose of developing community-based treatment alternatives for females with behavioral health issues, while preserving public safety. Specifically, DYS aspires to enter into a contract with an existing community-based residential treatment provider located anywhere in Ohio that will make available by July 1, 2014 residential treatment beds in a secure setting separated from adolescent males. The provider must be able to demonstrate the ability to arrange for a continuum of care that supports the transition to home or to self-sufficiency.
