The Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) is seeking proposals for the provision of Family Support Services.
The Family Support Services (FSS) Program focuses on providing services to parents and primary/secondary caregivers of children 0-5 years of age to prevent child abuse and neglect.
The Community Based Child Abuse Prevention (CBCAP) grant is intended to assist states develop programs aimed at discovering and preventing the many contributing factors of child maltreatment and is focused on primary and secondary child abuse and neglect prevention.
The funds are to be used for prevention services and cannot be used for treatment services.
