The City of Lawrence Public Schools intends to award a contract for the provision of transportation services to homeless school children of the City of Lawrence and displaced students who attend school in Lawrence as per the attached specifications. This is in accordance with the provisions of the Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts which oblige the School Departments of Cities and Towns to provide adequate transportation within the City of Lawrence as well as out of district under the terms of the federal McKinney-Vento Act. Schedules & Routes Pupils from areas within and outside of the City of Lawrence are to be transported to and from various schools and facilities within and outside Lawrence. These pupils will be of all ages and grades. All pupils will be picked up and dropped off at designated schools and given addresses at appointed times.
