The Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) is seeking grantees for the FY2016 Early Education and Out of School Time (EEOST) Capital Fund Program.
EEC will be awarding funds for major capital facilities projects, through a competitive grant process, to large group child care programs, including out of school time programs, that are run by non-profit entities or by an entity where the majority interest is a non-profit.
This program awards grants to large group early education and out of school time programs for major capital building projects. The Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) has worked closely with the Community Economic Assistance Development Corporation (CEDAC) and its affiliate, The Children’s Investment Fund (CIF), in the development of the pre-application, application materials and Program Guidelines
The Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) has scheduled three informational meetings about the pre-application and application process for the FY2016 Early Education and Out of School Time (EEOST) Capital Fund Program. Applicants will be required to submit a pre-application by Tuesday, November 17, 2015 and qualified applicants will be invited to submit a full application in January 2016.
