The Sudbury Foundation in Sudbury, Massachusetts, is accepting applications for its 2016 Children, Youth, and Families Capacity Building Grant Program.
In the spring 2016 round of funding, the foundation will consider projects that fall under the following tracks: strategic and/or business planning; board or staff development; and fund development plans and systems. Grant amounts will be determined on a project-by-project basis.
Successful grant applicants will be nonprofit organizations (or, in some cases, a program within an organization) who address such issues as early health and learning, literacy, academic enrichment and support, skill-building, drop-out prevention, college/job readiness, or career exploration; or who focus on personal/behavioral enrichment including leadership development, self-esteem building, mentoring, promotion of healthy behaviors, emotional health supports, etc. Agencies offering parenting education and support programs are also eligible to apply.
Must work in Acton, Concord, Framingham, Hudson, Lincoln, Marlboro, Maynard, Natick, Stow, Wayland and Sudbury.
Concept papers must be received no later than March 4, 2016. Upon review, selected applicants will be invited to submit full applications by April 8, 2016
The foundation will be holding an information session on February 11, 2016.
