The Department of Human Services is seeking proposals to deliver mental health programming to at risk students and their families attending school within the Calhoun, Pocahontas and Webster Decat area.
At risk juveniles have been identified in this RFP as students who currently have a mental health diagnosis or are showing signs of mental health issues. The target group for this service is students who do not receive Title XIX, are un-insured, underinsured (or cannot afford care even through their current insurance).
Programming will provide early intervention, counseling, intervention and education to the population identified above. The main objective of the program is to prevent entrance or further involvement in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems while maintaining healthy and safe family environments.
