Orange County is seeking qualified organizations to provide Youth-Focused Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Prevention Services.
This solicitation is broken down into 2 different programs:
1.Project One – Friday Night Live Partnership
This program was developed to reduce the number of deaths and injuries caused by teen motorists driving under the influence of alcohol and other drugs. The program provides support and opportunities for young people to develop skills to address substance abuse through community based chapters.
2. Project Two – Building the Capacity of Multiple Faith Based Organizations to Provide Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention Services
This project is designed to work with multiple Orange County Faith Based Organizations (FBO) to build their capacity to implement prevention activities in partnership with young people, using the youth development framework. Services are to focus on providing the opportunity for young people to develop skills in order to implement projects in their community that build upon their protective factors.Services provided by this project shall be open to all individuals, and not exclusive to members of any particular FBO.
