The Court has been awarded grant funds from California’s Access to Visitation Grant Program to be used for supervised visitation and exchange services between a noncustodial parent and one or more children in the presence of a neutral third person. The target recipients of the visitation and exchange services are low-income separated, separating, divorced or unmarried parents and their children who are involved in custody and visitation proceedings under the Family Code.
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to seek Proposals from non-profit 501(3)(c) community-based organizations to provide supervised visitation and exchange services (“SERVICES”) within twenty-five (25) miles or less from the following courthouse – Stanley Mosk, Chatsworth, Compton, Lancaster, Long Beach, Norwalk, Pasadena, Pomona, Santa Monica, Torrance, and Van Nuys. The Court reserves the right to select multiple service providers.
Interested and qualified prospective SUBCONTRACTORS who have demonstrated their ability to successfully provide the Services described in this RFP are invited to submit a proposal. Proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the requirements set forth in this document. A prospective SUBCONTRACTOR that has facilities in one or more of the designated areas may submit a Proposal for each of the designated geographic areas.
All proposals must be submitted electronically on the Court’s Online Procurement Website at www.BidSync.com (BidSync) in accordance with the requirements set forth in this document. Proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the requirements set forth in this document. All materials submitted in response to this RFP shall become a part of the proposal and may be incorporated in a subsequent contract between the Court and the selected SUBCONTRACTOR.
The Court intends to enter into a contract through March 31, 2017, with an option to extend for an additional one‐year period, subject to continued funding. The contract(s) shall commence upon the date of its execution by Court’s Executive Officer/Clerk.
