The City and County of San Francisco Human Services Agency (HSA) seeks proposals from qualified organizations to pilot a program to provide immediate crisis intervention and case management services for commercially sexually exploited children and young adults (CSEC/YA).
Part of the County’s plan for CSEC/YA identified a need for immediate, peer-based services from a community based advocate. During the pilot year, a program will be developed with the ultimate goal of making specialized CSEC/YA case workers available 24/7 for calls primarily from the Child Protection Hotline (CPS).
The target population to be served by the pilot is All CSEC/YA up to age 21 with an initial focus on children and AB 12-eligible youth who have been referred by the Child Protection Hotline.
HSA expects to make one award through this procurement process. This grant shall have an original term of eight (8) months, effective from November 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016. In addition, HSA shall have the option to extend the term for a period of two (2) additional years.
