The Orange County Social Service Administration has issued a notice of a future bid release for a kinship care program.
The Kinship Support Services Program (KSSP) is a state-funded program for community-based support intended to increase the likelihood of relatives assuming and maintaining responsibility and care of children from their extended family by providing multiple services. KSSP services include counseling, support groups, parent education, educational support for children, legal guardianship/adoption mediation, community resource linkage and referral services, and mentor program services provided by relative caregivers who have successfully navigated through similar kinship programs.
The bid is expected to be released on or around October 22nd, 2015, through the County’s procurement system, BidSync.
