The County of Orange Social Services Agency (SSA) is seeking letters of interest from organizations qualified to provide intensive family-finding and engagement services for specified foster children and young adults up to and including 21 years of age.
Services include:
- Engage and work effectively with youth/young adults, their current family and caregivers, social worker and other service professionals, and potential family members and significant others;
- Employ and train staff capable of providing the requested services in a manner that effectively engages all individuals who are being provided services, and that appropriately considers the varying dynamics of each youth/young adults;
- Transport and safeguard youth/young adults across county, state, and national regions. These protocols shall include established travel contingency plans addressing the supervision of youth/young adults with special medical and/or behavioral needs including those with runaway history, and providing mental and emotional support of youth/young adults when engaging new family members and significant others; and
- Evaluate service outcomes.
