The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES), Children’s Unit, has announced the release of the Child Abuse Treatment (CHAT) Program Request for Application (RFA) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2014/2015.
The purpose of the CHAT Program is to fund child abuse treatment agencies that provide child abuse treatment services to child victims in California.
Funds from the CHAT Program must be used to enhance existing services for victims of child abuse. The CHAT Program provides psychotherapy services to child victims of abuse or crime by the most qualified clinicians who have applicable education and experience working with this population.
The CHAT program requires a cash and/or in-kind match equal to 20 percent of the total project cost.
