San Mateo County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services is seeking proposals to provide treatment to abused children and youth, ages six through seventeen, and their families.
The Child Abuse Treatment program will include assessment, individual therapy, group therapy and counseling, collateral services and family counseling/therapy, crisis intervention, case management/brokerage, home and school visits as needed, interagency collaboration, rehabilitation and skills building services (e.g., daily living skills), and transportation services for clients to attend group therapy.
There is also an expectation that the staff providing these services will complete reports for the Juvenile Court and may be requested to provide court testimony. Services shall be provided in multiple locations throughout the county to allow geographic accessibility.
