The County of Sonoma Human Services Department, Division of Family, Youth and Children (FYC) is accepting proposals for its Child Abuse Prevention Services program.
The purpose of this RFP is to procure a variety of services through multiple service provider(s) that will address the issues and behaviors that have led to child abuse and/or neglect in families that have a current referral to CPS that will soon be closing.
This RFP will also procure for the Child Abuse Prevention Council (CAPC), which coordinates a community-based campaign to build awareness around efforts to prevent child abuse. Activities of the CAPC include convening quarterly meetings of the CAPC, providing administrative support for mandated reporter trainings, as well as outreach and coordination of events during the annual Blue Ribbon Campaign supporting Child Abuse Awareness month.
