Justice will make one grant for what it calls “The Bridge Project,” meant to assist in advancing “the understanding, translation, and application of research and research-based strategies across four primary components of the juvenile justice system.”
Those four components are:
- Prevention and diversion
- Community-based alternatives to placement
- Detention and secure confinement
- Reentry
