CYC: Lost Childhoods: an Exhibition of the Foster Youth Museum

California Youth Connection and Braid Mission are pleased to announce a two week installation of Lost Childhoods, the centerpiece exhibit of the Foster Youth Museum, at San Francisco’s historic Grace Cathedral.
Lost Childhoods presents photos, objects, videos, art, and writing to tell stories of loss and powerlessness, resilience and connection. Current and former foster youth have chosen artifacts for the museum that not only illuminate disrupted childhoods and the impacts of an imperfect system, but also testify to every young person’s extraordinary potential for redemption and personal transformation.
Lost Childhoods will be on display at Grace Cathedral from 9AM to 6PM daily from October 15 – November 1, 2015. Please join us for the Gala Reception on opening night.
