How can we better support current and former foster youth in pursuing and succeeding in post-secondary education?

How can we address high rates of unplanned pregnancy among current and former foster youth, while better equipping young parents to succeed?

These questions and more will be addressed at an informational briefing hosted by Assembly Member Tony Thurmond, featuring findings from a recently completed report by the John Burton Foundation, along with insights from a panel of housing providers, county representatives & others.
