Lexi entered foster care at the age of 15, and was legally reunified with a parent a year later, but remained in the care of her foster home until she turned 18. Lexi graduated in the spring of 2022 from Hamline University where she majored in social justice with a concentration in law and advocacy and a minor in political science. In the future, she hopes to go to law school to advocate alongside marginalized communities affected by inequitable policies and laws. In her free time, she likes to bake, read, and participate in transformative justice-based discussions.
