Lawrence Ball

Lawrence Ball moved from Los Angeles and grew up in Apple Valley, California. Starting at age 13, Ball was writing his own poetry, rhymes and stories, using his creativity to escape what was happening in his life. As he got older, Ball started hosting and writing scripts for his high school pep rallies, talent shows, teachers luaus and senior breakfasts. Ball has also put out music, as writing lyrics has always been his first love. He now attends the University of Riverside, California to pursue his dream of becoming a film director/screenwriter.

During high school, I did not know anyone else who was in foster care. It was something that I did not want to broadcast, because I felt like I was the only foster kid at the school.
